Scope Creep Sucks But Asking For a Mentor is Not Creepy

For your Monday Motivation, TLDC focuses on you!  Today there were two driving questions in the chat:

  1. How about consulting? Who is doing it, how are you doing it, etc?
  2. Does anyone know of some good learning and development or instructional design mentoring/mentorship schemes?  How do you get a mentor without being creepy?

Does anyone know of some good learning and development or instructional design mentoring/mentorship schemes?  How do you get a mentor without being creepy?

As usual, we had a great discussion about these talking points in the chat as well as in the boxes.  One of the benefits of the TLDC is that the community is made of learning and development professionals from all different backgrounds.  Receiving feedback on questions like these from multiple perspectives is something that you may not even receive if you go to a conference. Community members that chimed in on camera included Mike Simmons, Michelle Fanfarillo, and Marco Faccini
